Barb McDonald

BarbBarb McDonald works with her clients to promote general health and well-being.  She complements her Reflexology treatments with her knowledge of Breathwork, Hatha and Restorative Yoga. Barb combines elements of these disciplines with Reflexolgy treatments in order for her clients to fully experience relaxation and to promote the ability of the body to respond to healing.

Barb McDonald has more than 20 years experience in the Fitness industry, first as an aerobic trainer and now as a yoga and pilates instructor.  Currently her practice focuses on stress management in various forms, addressing postural misalignment, building core strength and breathwork.  In all of these disciplines, her goal is to assist clients to improve the quality of their lives.  During Reflexology treatments, Barb’s goal is to create a balance between stimulation and deep relaxation for her clients and to encourage health and well-being for her clients.

Reflexology:  is the practice of using specific pressure points on the hands and feet to stimulate reflex responses in other areas of the body.  The hands and the feet act as ‘mirrors’ for our bodies, so by working with key pressure points, Reflexologists can gently guide the body in its natural ability to self-heal.
